Eight-year-old Émile is enjoying the last of the warm summer evenings with his sister Françoise. While they are eagerly scanning the night sky for shooting stars, they are suddenly interrupted by a despicably cruel act.

A commentary about the state of journalism on the backdrop of environmental exploitation of the ecologically sensitive Tadoba Tiger Reserve, the film explores the consequences of modern profiteering-driven news on the world, and on personal relationships.
